Meet the owner!
Hey there, I’m Maci!
I’m a follower of Jesus, a wife, a daughter, a friend, and a proud dog mom to the cutest little guy. In my free time, you’ll usually find me working out, exploring the outdoors, traveling, or searching for new restaurants to try around town.
I’ve been in the marketing and event world for 10 years now. I’m originally from the Dallas, Texas area but moved to Kansas to play college softball at Friends University, where I earned my degree in Marketing. After graduating, I moved back home to Texas, where I kicked off my career as a Marketing Assistant and Event Coordinator with one of the Dallas Cowboys organizations.
When COVID hit, I made the decision to move back to Kansas to be closer to my family—and praise The Lord that He guided me back because this is where I met my husband.
Over the past few years, I’ve been working at a marketing agency that focuses on non-profits, but I’ve also worked with for-profit clients as well. I’ve had the chance to collaborate with so many amazing clients, from counseling agencies, foster care and adoption agencies, mortgage broker, landscaping, volleyball coaching programs, homeless prevention and resources, and even a local community movement. I also took on some freelance projects, working with car washes and manufacturing companies.
All of these experiences have shaped me and eventually gave me the courage to take a leap of faith and start my own business—Set Apart Marketing & Events. I’m so thankful for the opportunities God has placed in my life, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.
